zz. today was one of those days where you just wished you had spent your time more wisely.
It started off with worship practice.. well, was quite fun. Full band, with two WSL , electric guitar,synthesizer, bassguitar, percussions. and me on drums la. overall quite ok la.
oh yea kel always has this look.. when he ask you to try something then after several times you still can't get it, he'll try to be patient, then just nod slowly but not maintain eye contact with you, kinda like a 'nice try.. but still wrong. nvm. i'm trying to be patient. grr.' gesture.
oh well.
Then right, i'm supposed to meet my mom at 730 at some spectacles place near bishan to go check the lens cos it's blur - i can't see faraway words clearly. worship prac ended around 3~, then i planned to study either downstairs or at J8 /bishan library. Didn't want to go home cos troublesome, then must come out again.
Then when i went downstairs, the old building was all locked up. ok great. ok off to bishan.
when i reached bishan, all the food places were full, absolutely no seats. so i decided to check out the new bishan library...
it was packed to the brim la!! SUPER crowded man! all 4 stories ALL full! every single seat was taken, and even all the prime floor spaces were gone.
Oh but the design is quite nice.. each floor has these.. nice corners that peeks out of the building, with glass panels. So you're like sitting on a suspended part of the building. Kinda hard to describe it you need to see it for yourself.
So i went back to junction 8.. then got a seat at the Mcdonalds. Then after doing my work for like 10-15 minutes.. this blur china-woman manager came and told me i couldn't study there, no space, very crowded.
ok wait, tell you what, i'll try to reenact it so it's easier.

C: Er excuse me sir, i'm sorry, you cannot study here, weekend very crowded, later customers complain.
A: -turns to my right and stares at the empty table next to me-
C: Please sir, later got more people, then they no space to sit.
A: Then if i buy something to eat i can stay?
C: er no no, cannot.
A: ?? What? I buy something to eat then i cannot stay?
C: Oh can, but you must close your book.
A: ??? -look of disbelief-
C: You can go the library nearby, there can study also
A: I went already, it's full.
C: -thinks for a while-. Are you a member at the CC? There also got some nice study area. -goes on a rather long pitch on how good the CC is for studying and how cheap the membership is. wth. she must be some part-time committee member there-
A: -nods understandingly and starts to pack-.

Well, i could have argued alot more based on that bolded sentence she made. but because i was too lazy and kinda tired and the place was quite noisy anyway, i decided not to.
Possible argument:
A: Eh wth?? I can stay but i must close my book? eh excuse me i buy food means i'm eating right. I'm sure you won't approach a group of people who eat very slowly and tell them 'er sorry please eat faster we need the table space'. So if i buy food/drink then i'm free to stay and read my notes as long as i want right? maybe i can only drink 10ml every 30 minutes otherwise my large intestine will explode?
Anyway after i left the place.. i walked around and still no space. It was already around 4+ then. After much consideration, i decided to go home. SO WASTE TIME I SHOULD HAVE GONE HOME IN THE FIRST PLACE FROM CHURCH.
So i took a long train ride home (bus must walk longer, lazy) , and reached home around 5+. Took a nap and woke up at 6, then went to eat at KFC (they always got pretty secondaryschool girls working at the counter there =X) (eh no that's not the reason why i ate there ok. i didn't even queue up at the counter with the girls) , then headed to the optician.
Then right.. i think my eye got problem. Well my old spectacles degree is 650 /650. Then the new one is 675/650. Then somehow the old one is clearer. Like i look at words a distance away , it's sharper. With the new one it's a little blurry.
Then i tried all the different variations of degrees,(with the mechanical glasses. wear already look like robocop) 650/650 , 650/675, 675/675, 700/700... but all were not as clear as my old spectacles!!
So after like 20 minutes of testing i decided to stay with the new specs degree, and try to test it out for another week, maybe have to adjust to it. :S
i hope it works la.
anyway. WASTED TIME AGAIN. went all the way to that optician then actually i'm staying with my old specs. zzz.
What a waste of time.
